The installation was really easy. This was a great solution and worked for what I needed. I bought these to replace the pedestal solar lights that once lined the driveway. The new solar step lights really cleaned up the approach to my driveway to have these lights tucked out of the way, attached the fence rail. Light output varies a lot depending on weather and sunlight which I fully expected when I bought them. I plan to purchase more.

These small solar lights have helped our front stairs provide light without a wired-in system. The stairs are old wooden porch steps and these lights are perfect to produce enough light that visitors can see the edge of the steps. They are not extremely bright but cast a yellow light that is strong enough for the purpose. During the day the solar panels are visible and may not be to everyone’s esthetic. Unless you were in lighting you are going to see solar lights regardless. They are a great solution for lighting stairs inexpensively.

We really like these lights. They are bright and last most of the night. We placed them on the steps and they work perfectly. We had extras that we placed pointing up on the posts of our covered deck. They work well for up-lights. I’m purchasing more since we found additional uses for them.
